Inspired by the futuristic, seamless beauty of naked cathode ray tubes, Tivu is a contemporary lighting system that pays homage to televisions from another era. 

The softly curved “screen” shape, proportioned for the digital age with 16:9 ratio, uses an ultra gloss, diamond coated finish to give a distorted reflection of the room: Jozeph’s retrospective play on the question of the TV as the observed or observer. 

When illuminated, a soft halo radiates onto the wall surface, subtly embodying a dilated pupil from afar, both absorbing and reflecting the surrounding light.
