Logitech engaged DARC to rethink the computer mouse. Under the executive direction of Andrea Branzi and Marco Susani, the program was a far-reaching research of tangible, digital and sensorial aspects of UI/UX, and an exploration of new typologies, formal languages, ergonomics, and materials innovations.

One of many advanced concepts to come out of this project, the Cordless MouseMan Pro was the result of rigorous ergonomic research combined with Darwinian principles of development, giving birth to the “vertical mouse” concept for the first time.

This process of “accelerated evolution” also resulted in the thumb button which, together with the vertical design concept, fundamentally reset the design DNA of the modern mouse.
